Believe it or not, plumbing has been a part of society as early as 3000 B.C. Great ancient civilizations in Persia, Greece, Rome, India, and China have been using it to provide water to the masses and establish sewage systems to accommodate the needs of their population. As technology advanced, modern plumbing systems continued to evolve. It wasn't until twenty-nine years later that running water was available in the White House, and even then, it was only available on the first floor of the main building. Fast forward to today, we have sophisticated water and sewage systems and highly-skilled plumbers that maintain these systems. Without them, we wouldn't have fresh running water and clear pipes to remove waste in our homes.
